Highland fling THE 38th Auckland Highland Games are held at Three Kings Reserve on Novem- ber 23 from 11am to 5pm. It’s a free event provided by the Auckland High- lands Games Association and Auckland Council. Highland dancing, solo pipers competition, pipe bands march past, tossing the caber, tug-o -war, Glenea- gles stud ponies, Scottish crafts and fine foods, face-painting, bouncy castle and lots more to see and do. It will be fun for the whole family and a warm welcome is extended to the Clan Macleod’s world gathering.
