Is there no end to the hive of activity in Howick? While some are still busy tidying the streets after the chaos of Midnight Madness, it will all begin again with the Santa Parade next week. So, no time for tidying, and all the time in the world for partying! Of course, one can never have enough merriment especially when hard workers have spent the year slogging away at their respec- tive jobs -- as we have. And this is no comparison to the whirlwind that lies ahead -- shopping, feasting, drinking and hosting. Bring it on, we say! There may be no snow in the south- ern hemisphere, but who's to say we can't have a Whyte Christmas? Our ever fabulous lingerie special- ist Lily Whyte is having a very special pre-Christmas deal to uplift spirits -- and those all-important womanly assets. Buy two Triumph bras and receive the third, for FREE! So, deck the décolletage with boughs of Tri- umph and pay a visit to Lily Whyte today! Art collectors and appreciators rejoice; Monterey Art Gallery is open until 7pm every Thursday night right up to Christmas. This, of course, is a bonus for family and friends of the artistic who are strapped for time and need to find the perfect gift. Plus, we're sure the art experts at the gallery are only too happy to point the clueless gift giver in the right direction. Feeling low? Well, here's a cheery, mood-booster for women who want to achieve their goals and learn how to be more confident. The fun celebration featuring traditional music, vibrant costumes, dancing, souve- nirs and glorious Russian food as well as face painting for the kiddies raised con- siderable funds for a Christian Russian school in the city of Khabarovsk -- what a great outcome. Thank you for all your support!
